Leaders
The Leaders program trains Livingston students from Grade 3 to 5 to be leaders. This is a fun, educational program that addresses different topics each month and includes recreation time. Students are taught different skills including listening, communication, self-esteem, responsibility, respect and teamwork.
Our program is designed to:
- Teach Livingston’s youth about making healthy life choices and the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in a fun way.
- Train Leaders and provide opportunities to practice leadership by participating in community service activities.
- Empower parents with the tools they need to communicate effectively with their children.
- Provide opportunities for Livingston youth to engage in healthy social interactions.
- Build stronger healthy families through workshops and programs.
In addition we provide:
- Family Socials ● Parent Education Workshops ● Volunteer Opportunities
Program:
- Grades 3, 4 and 5 meet once each month from 2:25 pm to 3:40 pm at their own school. Meeting days and dates vary to accommodate all schedules.
- Family Socials and special events are scheduled throughout the year.
