Parents

In response to the Parent Satisfaction Survey, LYCS has incorporated additional parent support into programming. This includes the Parent Assignments which are linked to Grades 3-5 curriculum. We are encouraging students to ‘teach’ parents what they learned in Leaders. Students take home additional information on the monthly topic as well as a choice of 4 or 5 assignments. Parents then sign-off on what assignment they completed with their child and fill in the raffle ticket (which is the incentive to participate). The raffle tickets are for a free drawing and a chance to win prizes at the End of Year Party on Saturday June 19, 2010.

  PEER LEADERS (Grades 6-8) meet from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Monmouth Court.
